Default Now and Next on BBC Three

This really gets on my nerves. "Next" on BBC Three means the programme that will start after the one about to start. Next should mean next and not the one after the next one. Other BBC stations don't do this. Grinds my gears.

Write a letter. Tell them about your next action and get them really confused!

Not as infuriating as the whole show being composed of 'coming up' and 'previously on' and 'after the break'.

The latest Sarah Beany one is really riling me now. Opener to show 1, Sarah and hubby bought this derelict blah blah blah.....' 8 minutes in we've got the picture and are ready to see how it turns out. Cue wind-down for ads....'coming up after the break, we see how Sarah and her family start to revive this blah blah blah blah......'. Pt. 2 'Sarah and her hubby bought this.......' There must be about 11 minutes of footage in each show by the time you remove the ads, credits, prologue, intro, coming ups afters, coming up in this parts, and coming up next weeks. It's as bad as the Gadget Show but without Suzi's legs or Pollyanna's breasts (Beanny's breasts have remained concealed thus far).

I imagine this sort of 'excitement' is enough to raise you from the semi comatose state required to listen to radio 3

Sometimes yes. I find Radio 4 can get a bit rowdy.

And I wish the programme labels would change when the programme actually finishes. Last night on BBC1 'The One Show' finished about 7:25, 'Inside Out' started, but the recorder didn't know and missed the first 5 minutes Same when you record the 10 o'clock News, the recording often finishes 5 minutes before the end of the programme, chopping all of the sport

I'm with you Corradoboy!

Drives me scrofulous! We're always shouting 'Feckin' get ON with it!!' at the telly. And don't start me off about the music played over the dialogue!
