Panorama - "Holier than Thou?"
Haven't seen it yet of course but it's thought it will undermine England's World Cup bid.
Well I think it's a bit of a s,hitty trick for the BBC to show this just a couple of days before the FIFA meeting. Press Freedom my ****. They could have waited a week in the national interest

It's all about news. They're making it by scheduling this programme tonight, so close to the draw. Then when we don't get it, they'll have another nice story to report.

It's not me watching it that's the problem it's FIFA seeing it
What I don't understand is how that Swiss company who were given the rights, worth billions, to market the World Cup managed to go bust All they had to do was make a few phone calls to Coca Cola, Mcdonalds etc and send out a few brown envelopes. Must have been super mismanagement

Of course, it could have the opposite effect that everyone thinks.
Two FIFA officials have already been expelled for corruption, and with more being uncovered, if they vote against England, it may be perceived that FIFA condones this sort of behaviour and is punishing England for exposing it.
They may well feel under pressure to give it to England and restore some faith in them.
Just a thought........
Geezer
