Red face Mummy's boy.........

I see William has given our Katie his mother's engagement ring.

The very pinnacle of bad taste seeing as the ring represents a disastrous marriage, infidelity and a premature death.

At this rate he'll be buying her a Mercedes and honeymooning in Paris

I think it was to keep his mother's memory alive and if his fiance does not object I don't blame him.

Quite ridiculous to say it was to save mpney.

So Kate Middleton is the first person to put her finger in Diana's ring since Dodi, then?

Why is it creepy? How many fellas have used their mums, nans ring which ha seen passed down to them? Not like you are wearing a dead mans shoes. Would you rather he used public funds and bought a new one. Bear in mind that this ring cost £65k back in 1982, I dont know what that equates to now other than a hell of a lot more. The guy couldnt do right for doing wrong. And seriously, do we really care other than for some folks to make an issue out of a non issue? Ya big drama queens.

The ring cost £28k in 1981, it would be a bit silly buying an engagement ring a year after they married too
