Default How much on Wifes Xmas Presents?

How much will you spend on your Wife / Girlfriend / Mistress / Significant other this Christmas?

Ali commented on a bracelet in Goldsmiths (Welwyn Garden City) today - £549.00!

VSI Diamonds - 0.25 carats in total.

Asked the young girl serving me if I could have a discount and she said she couldn't do that.

Asked for the manager(ess) - I got to see the Deputy Manageress who recognised me from when I bought an OEM Raymond Weil watch strap last year. I asked for 5% discount, she knocked £49 off

Always pays to be polite / nice to people (even though they are probably still making a £300+ profit)

Now I need to buy some "Diversion Presents"...

Any ideas?

Wife - probably 20 quid
Girlfriend - a bit more, maybe 25
Mistress - She could get a couple of k, but it depends on the sloppy BJ's

hope that helps

Nope, we obviously live in different worlds. I'd be frightened to wear something that cost so much.

I'd be more than happy with the perfume I like, and enough time to go out together so he could get me some of my style jewellery. And that whole comment is me being at my most selfish. (none of which costs alot).

If you are looking to get token gifts, how about perfume, any clothes, CDs/DVDs???

I'll be useless at this as, like I say, I think we live in different worlds.

Couple of DS games and a CD if she's good, and maybe some slippers, but we spend all our Christmas money on the kids and buy whatever we want throughout the year so don't really need/want much.

I normally ask for and I am happy with my half yearly bottle of D&G light blue, and a DVD or two.

That makes me a happy lady. We couldn't afford to spend much more on each other as we spend most of what's available on the children.

All always it is the thought behind it that matters. Vast expense is not necessarily the answer.

I spend all the money I have spare on my lovely husband, he deserves it and I always spoil him rotten.

I'm still to outdo the year I bought him a course of flying lessons

Realistically, I probably spend about 500 on him, spread over oct nov and dec's pay. I buy him things that he'll use the year through so it saves buying them spread out and it makes him feel special.

I think about each gift before I buy it whether its 50p silly thing or £50. Not one to flash the cash for extravagance's sake.

He probably spends about £100 on me at the most but I don't care

I usually spend around £400 but this year I'm spending nuffin we are going on holiday to Mexico in a couple of week and we both agreed this would be our xmas gifts to each other

Its difficult to advise on your diversion presents as we aint got a clue what she likes, my missus would be happy with some perfume, DS games, guitar hero, DJ hero, lots of crap like that

just sit back think about what she likes and this should be enough, a little thought goes a long way

It varies, depends on what money I have, I don't spend what I don't have, If I had more I would possibly spend more but not just to be flash or extravagant, we are far from rich but in reality there isn't much we need that we haven't got. A few well chosen items, something relevant is much better than something over the top bought in haste because it was left to the last minute.

wrap it in boxes increasing in size each time until a fair size , that will keep her busy and guessing women love things like that

In years gone by, I've done the car thing (key wrapped up under the tree), diamonds, jewellery etc, but this year I'm stumped.

Sure as hell won't be a pricey one though.

Good luck with that one mate - I have never come across a woman who says that and means it. No matter what happens she will be very disappointed come Christmas morning and there is nothing to unwrap!!!!
