Default Flight departures pass

A friend of mine is flying abroad on her own for the first time.
She's going to be flying out of Gatwick but I'm pretty certain she'll get all in a muddle and could possibly miss her flight unless she's supervised in and through the departure lounge.
Does anyone know if there's a pass that allows a non flying person to to go into the departure lounge to supervise someone who's flying then come out once they've been seen to their gate?

Get her to contact her airline. They'll be happy to help.

I appreciate it could be daunting but with a bit of explanation upfront and arriving in plenty of time there shouldnt be a problem, seeing some of the people you see on some flights it cant be that hard.

Was at Manchester last week, going to Boston (via Dublin) and was queueing to get a Coffee at 6.30 am and some scummy looking woman of about 50 orders 2 pints, they get pulled and as she is paying "8 Ace" (Viz Character) rocks up and says that security are tannoying them to go and board as the plane is ready to go, they sit for another 2/3 minutes as they finish their pints, 8 Ace was on crutches and didnt look well, she wasnt a picture of health and they had a fair old trek to get to the gate even then, so if irresponsible alcoholics can manage it your friend should be ok.

Because she's visiting a relative who's looking into doing the same thing at the other end. It won't be so easy for her to muck things up at Paphos airport.

Thanks for your concern.

Paphos airport is so small it is not possible to get lost and muck things up.
