Too be honest it does not surprise me they are Asian, since the culture there is one of plutocracy where one uses positions of privilege to enrich oneself.

Sure there is always some of it, but more successful societies minimise it. Pakistan is a kind of medieval plutocracy, it's dysfunctional...it stops society and the economy from moving fwd, it means talented people of low birth have a very hard time succeeding.

Surely not? These are people so deeply religious they put out death threats over a cartoon. How could you even suggest that they (and it seems the majority of the Islamic world) could be so hypocritical?

Can't believe that they can be subject only to a parliamentary form of punishment when they were effectively guilty of stealing that money by deliberate deception. A criminal act in fact!

i have never understood why they find the word paki so offensive . do us lot moan when they call scots frisps irish paddies welsh taffies british brits . it is after all only a abreaviation of the word pakistan. so therefore less offensive than what they call us as brits if the only abbreaviation of our races
