Cue the whinging of many men at 'deaths door' with the sniffles

How many of us have been hit by the first of the winter seasons colds, flus & bugs??

My other half has a stinking cold... which he has given to me, the barsteward! I do feel like absolute poo, but I'm sure one of you males out there can tell me how much worse it is when you chaps get a cold

I normally don't suffer for more than a few days but this sucker has had a grip for 3 weeks now. It's not too bad, just sneezing and the occasional snot bubble. Not bad enough to stop me working though! (Self-Employed)

If a self employed person goes sick then they truly must be one foot in the grave!

IMHO

A man's cold is always worse (apparently) but I feel absolutely like **** and will moan about it.

It's not so much just having a cold, but not being able to hear, throwing up, coughing so much I feel like I've been in a fight/struggling for breath blah blah...

I gave in and had to take a couple of days off, and as unsympathetic as my work are to people being off (no matter why) usually, my bosses even questioned whether I should've come back.

I think I'm getting better, then I hit a real low again. It's my day off tomorrow, and once I've done the one thing I have to do in the morning, I'm tempted to just laze about for the day.

Yep, man flu hit me yesterday. and very nearly tempted to make this day in the office short!
But then again my effort for 100% attendance this year is stopped dead.
Mmm I'll fight it, after all I'm a man!

That doesn't sound good! Maybe a neck brace as a precautionary measure?

That would mean drinking hot coffee through a curly wurly straw (see Fig 1.), and my lung capacity is so diminished because of this flu I doubt I'd be able to draw it far enough

The flu is definitely worse for men than women, only men can get 'man flu' women just get the flu

You'll just need to take our word for it, it's kinda like when women say giving birth is more painful than getting kicked in the gonads, we just take your word for it.

Quick Reply: So it's that time of year again...for you babies, Man Flu Season
