Anyone work in Liverpool airport?
Bit of a long shot - a friend was travelling with Ryan Air out of Liverpool airport on Monday of this week and an item was confiscated from him by airport security. Just wondering if anyone works there, and may be in a position to help locate the item and pass it back to it owner via post. Expenses covered.
Out of curiosity, what do airports do with such confiscated items.

I was told by security at Heathrow once that I could go to the post office and get an envelope+stamps give that to the security guys and they would put my dodgy item into the outgoing post. I did have to rejoin the security queue again though :-(

See thats the problem
with some people they commute in but dont live there so have no fricken idea what the city is like. He probably (Dedrator) lives somewhere in manchester but comes to the 'Pool' to rob some wheel trims to take back with him to earn some pennies.

Absolute ****e, I work in Liverpool and have never met a friendlier bunch of people.
If you're commuting into Kirby or somewhere like that, then OK its a **** hole, but everyone has their poor areas. Liverpool is a nice place to work and its narrow minded **** heads like you that give it a bad name ..
and no I'm not from Liverpool.

Thanks for that. I have family in Liverpool and a nicer, more generous and friendly bunch you never meet. Which was good for all when we said our goodbyes to my Great Uncle who died there a couple of months back.

Last time i was up there was `Bommy night` last year being shown the huge anti social behaviour issues that your fair city has, i viewed the remains of a front room that belonged to an Immigrant family who had a firework put through their letter box, i could continue, this post would be very long.
My initial posting was tongue in cheek, playing to the stereotypes that scousers have and usually play up to, however i wasnt counting the ones who were out on the rob when the humour function was dished out.
