Ive been watching the series for a while but i never knew that the builder they use on the show "John Russell" had or still has debts of £6.4m. Thats some debt, he's obviously a very good builder but it seems he's made a few bad business decisions. That was reported last year, i was totally unware that he'd managed to get himself seriously into debt. He seems a decent bloke as well.

Watched the show and I can't understand how people can hand over say £60k for a shell when its obvious there is no where near that amount of work done.

I can't understand how some people can hand over the full amount up front before the builder has even got out of his van to do any work.

It just suprised me how much debt he had got himself into as he comes across as a very knowledgeable builder.

Why is that dopey cow from emmerdale presenting on this show all she does is "oohs" and "aahs" when the builder tells her what needs doing.

And right now old dominic is preaching about builders in debt.
