Who HASN'T got a Scooby?
OK good people of NSR. Who amongst us does not currently own a Subaru, but still hangs around on this site like a lost soul? Let's be named and shamed. We deserve it.
I'll start the roll-call of shame.
Turbo2
JDM WRX Bug: July 2007 - November 2008
JDM 22B: November 2008 - March 2010
Chance of ever returning to Scooby ownership? 10% (another 22B would be nice, but unlikely to happen)
In fact has any regular on here NEVER owned a Subaru?
They must be the real lowest of the low!

Never had one and don't plan on getting one either. Wasted many a good few hours on this forum reading about Impreza's when I was in school and have never left.

I own a CMAX and a Clio. Never owned a Scoob , though I do like them, does that count? I came on here back in the days when Clio 172's used to beat/bait bugeyes!!

I have not got one any more, not sure whether to regard myself as a lost soul though.
After my original STi, number 197, which I tweaked in many ways to be very poky and the handling was outstanding, no more understeer but neutral handling, it would have to be something pretty good to compare with that one.
I miss it a lot but will now have to stick with my Mini Cooper instead, which is nevertheless a good little car.

UK MY99 Turbo 2000 - 99-02.
Rather than hanging around like a lost soul as you put it i have a few friends and acquaintances on here and am able to give (good?) advice from time to time
Would i have another...maybe...

I don't think Mattee has ever had one!
JDM V5 Sti 1999-2004 - it is now the Lateral Banana and I sponsor it in Time Attack
JDM Spec C December 2005-2007 - great car that seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth!
I do hanker after another one when I see a good one go by, and I still hang around Scooby events like a bad smell - dishonourable member of the 22b TOTB team and lurker at Scooby Shoot Out!

SN is almost unique in that you post something and, almost instantly, a reply is added (if it's a decent post in the 1st place that is!) .... it's practically like instant messaging - and very addictive it is too.

MY00 Turbo 2000 owned from 2002 to 2007 when I had a little accident
Been relegated to a VW Passat ever since, I would like another Scoob but would now only use it weekends and holidays as I have a longer commute than I did back then. That said when I eventually do get another toy there is a big choice and it may not necessarily be a Subaru. If I were to get one the would be looking for something fairly hardcore like a Spec C

I took one of your new STi's out in May this year when I was looking to replace my Classic.
Fast, as you would expect ... but so flimsy plastics, so expensive to run, shame really - but a Scooby is not the thinking mans choice of weapon these days
Diesels are where it's at!!!

i dont like the new hatches tbh always loved the classic shape and the blob eye,. your right new sti's do feel bit flimsy in places lol. theyve only let me drive one like twice lol,
i quite like the impreza diesel tbh ive had use one of them a fare few times due to training courses etc.
butin general not a fan of diesels overall fuel of the devil lol
