I owned this from 2000 to 2008
It ended up with a fair few later Impreza bits bolted to it over the years. I got it to the point where I really enjoyed it, then sold it
Just got the Mk2 Golf and my heavily neglected XR4x4 now
I've no intention of ever owning an Impreza, but do quite fancy an H6 Outback at some point in the future

Haven't had one in years. Wouldn't go back to one either. I come on here because during the time I did have Scoobs, I made some good friends on here.... and once you cut through the copious amounts of bullsh1t on this site, it's still highly entertaining

I first visited here when I still had my Saxo VTS. I progressed to a Mondeo ST24, before finally getting a 94 WRX Wagon, which I kept until 2003 when I relocated to Canada. Out here I've had a 92 Passat and a 2000 Honda Accord. We're about to go car hunting this weekend, and one of the replacements for the Accord could be a Forester, it's certainly on the list.

Nope! Never had one, just really enjoy the banter and some very clever people!
Did have a Skoda Octavia vRS which got me o to this site...due to the Skoda giving the Impreza some runs for its money on the track...Jon? slow black diesel skoda*cough* and Des?
Kids now means
1.Nissan X Trail...oh.so good!
2.MX5 for fun and so much fun it is!
3.Classic Mini Cooper...best car of the lot.If it would stop cogging out at lamposts to p*ss oil everywhere and stop overheating!

Just to be the opposite I bought my first Scoon in 1996 and had three more, the last one being a 2003 STI that was the most unreliable car I ever owned. Finally got rid of it early 2008 and said I would never go back only to buy a proper Scoob (a classic of course) some 3 months later ... still have that today. So for all except 3 months I have owened a Scoob since 1996 and have been on here since 1999.

As far as I am concerned I joined this net because I bought a classic Impreza. That was just the start and I have remained here because I enjoy being on SN.
If those of us who no longer own one stopped supporting the site, how much longer do you think it would last?

Joined here when I was looking for a scoob and got loads of useful advice, ended up buying classic RB5 which I had for about 3 years before buying Audi A4 diesel.
Also have (dare I say it) a evo X 360 as my second car.
Do still miss the flat four rumble though.
Now I just pop on here from time to time for a quick look and a nose through, only really look at non scooby related though.

Would I have another? Not sure as I think I would like a track car that is not quite so heavy but at the moment I can't afford petrol for fun, so pedal instead.
Diesel Volvo AWD estate but with 320 ft/lb its got more torque than either of my scoobs did!

Funniest thing I think I've seen you post Les
I've currently got an MY99 Turbo Wagon which I've had for 4 years and prior to that I had an MY98 Wagon Sport for three years until some biffo punted it off the road.
I've started looking for something new, current fav is a 2003/2004 BMW 330d Tourer
When I go to something else I've got every intention of coming back to Subaru one day and I'll still lurk around Scoobynet

Had just bought a 95 wrx when I joined in 2006, only passed my test 2 months before joining
Then had a 99 uk turbo from dec 06- June 08. Had to sell it due to losing my previous job. Money went on bills. Not been able to afford one since due to being an apprentice.
Will definitely have another in the future. Hopefully an STi RA or a newage hardcore model.

Just sold mine two weeks ago. I now have a seat leon diesel
Sold it as i moved into a flat. While its sad not having my old scoob, wisdom tells me this...My own flat equals more minge.

Oh yes it does, just remember you can't get rat faced and give a slag a lift home in a Scooby but you can get pissed and get a taxi home with a slag!

Had my bugeye wrx wagon from 2003 till last month.Spent too much on it over the years. When i was sorting out the service history, looking through all the receipts for cash spent-only to get it to 310/300 made depressing reading-but I got a good price for it...
Just bought a touring 335d and am looking forward to only spending a few hundred quid for a remap-after I find some winter tyres first.

A Scoob will get you through times of no minge better than a minge will get you through times of no Scoob.
Apologies to Freewheelin' Franklin.

Had a 98 UK Turbo 2000 and then a UK bugeye STI. Drove Scoobs for 8 years but needed cheaper transport so I'm kicking around in a Megane Coupe at present, in ghey yellow
