I wouldn't buy a Karcher. The motor internals are plastic and so usually burn out. I'd buy a Nilfisk, metal motor internals, much better! Available from Argos.

I wouldn't touch the Karcher home range either, all the accessories are cheap plastic. I have one and the neighbour has one, both our diamond headed lances have packed up. The hose is plastic as well and its too rigid, i would only buy a pressure washer in the future that has a rubber hose.

We also bought a karcher steam cleaner, thats cheap plastic as well.

I also recommend Nilfisk. I have a C120 and it is very good - lots of power.

The best hose is the fabric covered stuff - Which my Bosch has inccidentally (and our 15yr old works steam cleaner).

The plastic/PTFE hoses burst if they've been kinked and the rubber ones eventually wear through due to the pump vibrations.

a Nilfisk

my Karcher packed up after 1 year of light use - was leaking like a sieve... bought a nilfisk to replace it and I'm a happy bunny

Cheers
