Geert Wilders defence fund
#6
Is Geert Wilders religious himself? There seemed to be some association with a Christian party in the things I read.
Has he incited violence toward Muslims or just offended them in some way?

He has NOT incited violence, he's not even on trial for that, he's on trial for inciting hatred (whatever that means?).
Basically it means you cannot criticise Islamic ideology, because they will silence you with 'anti-hate' laws.
It's fascist.

It is hardly fascist - they do not hold the moratorium on free speech or lack of it do they!

Free speech yes. However he is an idiot and while prosecution for what he said is probably wrong (though I haven't found the words he's being done for published) I'm not actually going to give him any money - ever. There's a difference between not liking what you're saying but happy to defend your right to say it and giving money to a git like him who would be happy to silence others free speech (Islamist ideologues). He's a hypocrite, and isn't getting a bean.

Nothing wrong with advocating Christian values because they can't be faulted with regard to natural law, or defending against takeover by another power, but religious persecution is another matter and is wrong.

Can't take this thread seriously as keep reading the subject matter as 'Gene Wilder' for some disleksic reason
