a la...
If you do, are you happy with it? is it as easy to clean as the 1 button clean says it is?

Sorry don't have one but interested in the outcome. Few friends have the basic Magimix Nespresso machine and have always been really impressed with the coffee. Don't drink a huge amount myself but when I do having a good quality coffee would be nice, also partial to the odd cappuccino or latte so a machine that makes those automatically would be really cool. May invest when our new kitchen is finally sorted out

Has the old Magimix given up the ghost?
I've got a De'Longhi Icona:
Which I bought to replace the old Magimix and it's a fabby little machine and very easy to clean. It still lets you play about at being a barista but I bought it because it looked pretty
The coffee isn't bad either
I know the one button jobbies are easier but they don't give you much control over the making of the coffee and I swear that it never tastes as good from an automatic machine

am going to wait for the next credit card bill before i decide
if we clearly can't afford something, my g/f says, "okay " and my guilty conscience has to take over.
"Can we buy an aston martin?"
"okay "
... i have to work out whether she was joking or not

I had a Krups espresso machine and got bored of the cleaning up, inconsistency of the coffee and sheer difficulty to make multiple cups.
Looked at B2C machines but every review I read said people had major problems after time due to the dirty interior. Unless your spending £1k+ with a proper warranty its a waste of time.
Bought a krups Nespresso for £80 and havent looked back. Sure you can get better coffee if you put the effort in but for a double espresso in less than 30 secs from start up you cant beat the ease of use imho.
Only issue for some is lack of places to get the pods other than online.
