I'm considering "working from home" on Friday, thus accelerating Thursday to Friday status and technically making today Tuesday

Blooming tube strike as well
Lazy ******* striking because they are worried it might cause issues with health and safety... the same idiots who announce at the stations that when it is raining we should take care due to the 'adverse weather conditions '
It's rain for ****s sake. If a passenger cant negotiate a slightly damp tiled floor, then what hope have we
Oh well that means I will be stuck in the car for hours no doubt

Simple answer to tube strikes; don't live/work in London
Maybe middle England; the Land that government forgot....we get to drive cars round here beacuse we have no public transport or congestion tax
Unfortunately there is **** all to drive to due to the economy and everything shutting down.
But at least its sunny this morning

I actually like Mondays DCI.
Only for the simple reason that after the weekend I can ship them off to school!
Luckily my daughter only does a half day. As much as I can't wait to get them to school, I am just as eager to bring them home.
Nothing better than some Oasis playing away full blast while I get some housework done.

What I want to know is........why is it that I can't wake up when the alarm goes off on a weekday, yet at the weekend, I always wake up before the time that the alarm would go off, and then can't get back to sleep? Grrrrrrrrrrr...........
Morning, by the way DCI!

Mondays have never bothered me as I have always worked weekends so effectively weekends don't exist to me. Wednesdays and Thursdays are pure grim time for me though.

Mondays have just one saving grace, they put an end to the blissful weekend with my delightfully charming 3 teenage children Today I left work and took the long way home just to make sure the car got a good run, obviously

Right. I had to get up in the morning at ten o'clock at night, half an hour before I went to bed, eat a lump of cold poison, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when we got home, our Dad would kill us, and dance about on our graves.

Not a fan of Tuesday's or Wednesday's either, however, today I got spoiled rotten by previously mentioned teenagers as I've aged another year, like a good wine. I then bought copious amount of cakes to take into work and eat myself and took a much longer detour to work as I really dont use enough fuel Not too bad so far..... I plan to leave work as early as possible before someone spoils it
