HTC Desire on Vodafone
Ok you may be aware of the Vodafone debackle when Voda put their "my360" software in with their latest updates. After the outcry Vodafone relented and allowed the software to be uninstalled. Vodafone are steadily rolling out Froyo (android 2.2) and after i got my Desire yesterday it upgraded "over the air" yesterday.
My problem is no matter how many times i change the default home page via the internet browser it always defaults to the "myweb.360" page. I have changed it to bbc, google, wikipedia, but each time the browswer is shut down and restarted, it defaults back to the Vodafone page.
I have deleted cache, history, cookies, even wiped out the saved passwords, but I am at a loss as to what the problem is.
Any help greatfully received.
TIA
Sinky

Thanks Dave. I got it sorted. I pulled the battery and rebooted the phone. the webpage now defaults to whatever you page set it at. I will have to wait to i get home to view your link. Work firewall prevents me from browsing forums. oddly enough it doesnt see SN as a forum probably as it doesnt have the word "forum" in the web address. ho hum. back to work.

I'm now running a custom 2.1 rom (flb) on my T Mobile pulse (Vodafone though)
It runs very smooth and quick, not bad for a £100 phone.
The 2.2 rom is available in beta for the pulse on Modaco, I'll leave it a couple of weeks to let the guys sort out some of the bugs first.
