Cool Bank Holiday - Let's Have Your Plans Then....

I shall be mostly doing the square root of not a ******* lot, the level '0' plan is that I get drunk Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, eat a few takeaways and watch a few films on the box.... under NO circumstances will I - cut the grass, wash the car or paint the ******* windows...

There was a time when I didn't have windows just youthful abandon and a liking of pernod & black ... ahhhh, they were the days!

Thumbs up

After today and tomorrow I will have finished the first year of my apprenticeship. Not sure if I get Monday off but as of the bank hol weekend I will go onto plant, my wages will increase by more than double and I will actually be making a difference in the real world as apposed to being stuck in a training centre.

Family wedding tomorrow, family BBQ Saturday, bugger all Sunday, and Monday.

I am planning on having lots of sex though, although I haven't told Mrs FM yet.

She need never know.........

My son has a football tournament, U9s. So expect screaming adults living their lives vicariously through their children.

Pernod and black??? Jeez, that brings back memories. Although I was more of a Pernod and lemonade girl.

Or vodka and tonic......or scotch and american........or vodka and bitter lemon......or Bacardi and Coke......or ESB (too much of THAT one night! ).

Well done mate

Probably off to one of the local amusement places to mark the end of the school term. Being close to the sea theres a fair few places to choose from.

http://www.folly-farm.co.uk/

http://www.bluelagoonwales.com/

http://www.heatherton.co.uk/

http://www.thedinosaurpark.co.uk/

http://www.gwili-railway.co.uk/

To name a few.

If its rubbish weather I'll be in the loft cleaning up the place ready for work to restart on my railway now the temps have come down a bit.

I've been invited to go camping with the Northern Newfoundland Club at Holme Pierpont which is about a 15 minute drive away from my front door.

Everyone else will be taking their dogs, however, as my Newfie is still a glint in his dad's eye, I will just have to take a crate of Carling.

Well that was a tough morning doing engineering quizzes and training questionaires.......... NOT

Found out I am at the plate mill for 6 months and then Dawes Lane Coke Ovens for 6 months after that.

Even better is tomorrow I'm doing some first aid crap to start with and was then supposed to do the afternoon at my placement, getting my bearings etc. BUT my mentor is on holiday so I get all tomorrow afternoon off, and monday & tuesday too... do I feel sorry for all the other apprentices... DO I ****

4 1/2 day weekend - whoo hoo

London tomorrow to catch a show, then nowt special for the rest of the weekend.
If it's dry we might take the children to Dudley Zoo. Unfortunately the last time I went the animals look so bloody miserable, they looked like they needed some anti depressants!

So who knows what we will get up to.

I'm not surprised the animals are depressed! They are living in Dudley!

Penguin: Hey Mr Elephant, how does Birmingham compare here to back home in Bangladesh

Asian Elephant: Eh? Wheres Birmingham?

Haven't you invested in some of those made to order earplugs yet? I'm tempted but at £170 it's nearly a weeks wage for a poor apprentice

BH Monday, will probably make an excuse to the girlfriend as to why I can't spend the day with her. Then take my 370Z out for the day.

She doesn't know I have one.

I think I'm going to try and teach myself how to cook a steak and ale pie. Considering that when I was single for the first time in years a couple of years back I had to phone my mates girlfriend to figure out how I 'made' scrambled eggs, I'm pushing boundaries!

Oh and I'll do the usual all day all night in the pub one day.

Congrats COB well done mate.

Going to try a proper 100km ride on the bike up to the High Peak trail. I haven't done more than 60km in one go this year so I may be expecting a bit much.

Big pasta meal the day before should help, and I'd like to go out on Saturday for the ride so I can recover with large amounts of beer on the Saturday / Sunday night
