the policemen he is actually looking at is called Paul Castle and is retired - the photo has been cropped badly as the policemen featured is not Paul Castle

Well he did manage to get himself elected as lifetime leader of the NUM afterwards at a very nice salary, and the whereabouts of all that cash donated by the Russian miners was never satisfactorily answered!
