Default RedBull X-Fighters, London. Anyone going?

Just about to book some tickets up as the weather looks like it will be ok for the evening tomorrow. Just wondered if anyone else was going

Yeah I thought it might be a giggle too. Mate went last year and said the crowds were disappointing, no excitement, but the riding was good.

Some of the riders this year are really pushing the boat out, so looks to be fun.

£45 per person, maybe a little steep but worth it as a one off.

Fancied going until I found out the price of tickets, bit of a rip off really. And for us we would miss the last train home so would mean a night in london so would end up being an expensive night out.

Love to go but not at that price - have you seen how much the hospitality tickets are

We went up on the GSXR last year to central London for a ride about and did'nt know it was on, and parked on the embankment opposite to watch for a while...could only see the jumps and flips unfortunately

Enjoy

The problem for me was getting home after .... So we knocked it on the head and will watch on telly instead

I'd love to see it, I have full respect for the tricks they get up to. Just too far for me unfortunately. I'd have bought you a drink Snazy!

Lol cheers Les I would have liked that.

For the record the price was putting me off but having done it, worth every penny for them. Crazy crowds, Levi was on fire, Nate still the man! Nasty accident at the start though.

2011, I'm there!

If you like it, why not try going to a race?

From either a local race, or the British GP.

....or try a back flip on my bike!

Prefer to watch most motorsport events on tv for the fuller view of it. That's not to say I dont go along to the events for the atmosphere. X-fighters being the exception due to the complete view of the arena you get with it.

For anyone who tried to watch it on Dave last night, it was delayed because of this.... First warm up lap of the night.

Yeah I should really go and watch one as love it on TV. A few metres more and someone had an FMX bike on their head

I remember watching Jeremy Lusks fatal crash. Just goes to show these guys are far from invincible.

Yup Lusk, RIP to the man, he was amazing. Sinclair almost followed in his footsteps last year. Been a few nasty ones this year too.

It's an amazing event to see live, even with all the chat that it was staged etc, it blew my mind to watch them doing it.

As for Villa's accident, very lucky indeed, unlike the victims at the truck race the next day in the USA. One woman was quite badly hurt, but nothing much was said about it.

I saw Supercross at Sheffield indoor arena once, that was great! Jeremy McGrath came round and the place just erupted! There was a camera flash Mexican wave, awesome experience!

Also saw an FMX event there, must have been a good 7 or so years ago but still mind boggling to watch

Indoor trials is well worth a watch too. I've been lucky enough to get down on the floor and up close to the sections....I have no idea how they do it!

The way those trials riders can hold their balance and negotiate some of those sections is just incredible.
