Another tragedy - Father murders family then hangs himself

Paramedics and police called to the house by a passer-by, who had heard screaming and shouting, were confronted by a bloodbath.
Two little girls, aged two and one years, had been knifed to death and their mother was found moments later, also suffering from severe fatal stab wounds.

Beat me to it. This story has actually made me angry. I mean Take yourself, maybe even the wife if she deserves it! But why the little ones?

WTF is wrong with this country. Is there no GOOD news to report.
From reading the BBC report, neighbours seemed to think they were a model family. What went so wrong? I suppose we will find out soon enough. RIP

money and cheating are the only thinks to go wrong but not worth killing your wife and 2 beautiful little ones over..what a sick b@stard couldnt EVER do anything like that to my 2 girls and 1 lad!!! what a waste of life as said kill yourself but not other people!!!!!!!!!

That's how I felt yesterday. After reading this tragic story the next news item was a 4 year old boy gone missing only to be found dead in his Mum's tumble Dryer.
Made me feel physically sick after reading such 2 tragic stories

Oh I doubt she did but at least if it was her that tipped him over the edge she could be responsible for her own actions, but lets not speculate.
As for "no one deserves to die" I can give you a list as long as my arm,

I keep on wondering and worrying why life has become so cheap these days and also how many now are prepared to carry out such terrible acts on others.

I think people sometimes get tipped over the edge, small kids sometimes deprive people of sleep for weeks, months or years, a guy I knew died with a Brain tumour and apparently went most perculiar in the last few weeks of his life, before he was diagnosed, people can be bi-polar, Schizophrenic, psychotic or have any other number of mental illnesses. People can just snap, all the worries we have build up
Sometimes its is just someone who is very, very angry, most of us dont have that kind of rage but some do, alcohol and drugs may have altered his perception, sometimes these cases are just some perverse way of getting back at a spouse who has strayed or rejected, a kind of ultimate petulance and selfishness.
I am not trying to condone this, you cant but nobody in their right mind murders their entire family.

Completely agree, this boils down to the mind self destructing through what ever triggers and human nature goes out the window. Anyone who stabs 1 year old and 2 year old babies has gone completely out of their mind.
The number of times this sort of thing has appeared in the news over recent years shows that unfortunately humans have a point where the mind will break down and implode. The ultimate mental break down as such.

The mind is a funny thing, until you lose it. Then it's not a funny thing at all, as then, all options that you would never dream yourself of doing are there right in front of you, ready to take at a minutes notice, and none of them are wrong because "your" mind is telling you that it's ok, it's a way out, it's acceptable, it's a solution. It doesn't matter what other people are telling or advising you at the time. It's your mind and it is telling you all will be ok.
I'm quite sure that we have all had traumas within our lives but i really think that until you have had some sort of mental "illness"/episode, then you can never understand how somebody can do this, obviously i'm not condoning it, but i can certainly see how somebody could carry out those actions at that specific point in time. Another example is the two young lads just up the road from me committing suicide today, aged 19 & 20, their minds could not have been there own, surely not.
