Highlight of my weekend (plane spotter)
Hearing 2 F22 Raptors thunder down Lakenheath runway and then go almost vertical at a fightening speed. The ground litterally shook.
Guessing they got scrambled for something as Lakenheath don't fly at weekend and they were back in 20 mins, sadly not quick enough to grab the camera for them landing.

Sunderland Airshow was on this weekend.
The Spitfires flew over my house this afternoon, awesome sight and sound
I think I spotted the Harrier too
A few years ago, we saw the Stealth Bomber. We got on the roof and it came up over the trees, disappeared, then seconds later we heard it

It came up over the trees, arched and dived back behind them. It was in the distance, you know
We heard the noise of it after it went out of sight.

I went to midlenhall airshow once, on the monday when everything was going home two lightnings, took off together and just went vertically up till you couldnt see them anymore.
i think they get to 60000 ft in two minutes, watching these things go and the ground shaking underneath is was mesmerising.
