e-bay madness.

e-bay madness.
I've been following an item on e-bay. It's a "rivet press", a device which embosses tiny bumps that look like rivets, onto brass sheet, for modelling purposes.
Brand new, they cost £80 with £5 P&P. They are precision made and feature a co-ordinate table whereby the anvil can be moved by a screw thread in divisions of 0.02mm.
The item sold on e-bay for £193.80, with £6.70 P&P
Don't e-bayers research their buys, or do they just all have more money than sense?

Not a bad idea considering the price some stupid ****** paid for a rivet press worth half they paid.
I looked into drop shipping at the beginning of the summer. Pools, inflatables, kids garden stuff etc. My mate does it and makes a fair profit.

They ought to make a big version of that rivet press, and then they could make those modern liners look a bit more retro. Those welded jobbers just look boring. Must be good for extra trade!

Tried to sell my Cannondale Scalpel mountain bike on ebay.
Tried 3 times, which cost me £33, without success. One buyer bid £475 but never actually paid up (ebay did at least refund the fees on that one). On another sale a bidder put in a high bid 3 days before the sale, then retracted it 3 hours before the end so the bike ended up not selling! - No money back on that one.
Ended up putting the bike on gumtree and sold it for £470 without paying having to pay gumtree a penny - lesson learnt!
