Great programme, its made me feel **** too!

Note the nation's pride in itself and the team

Just a shame to see a great like Gazza acting like a nervous wreck, we need more passionate players like him and Lineker and ditch these overpaid, overrated t**sers we have now

Pauls a good lad, I know him and most of his mates. You would not believe how many people he writes cheques out to when he is sitting drinking in the pub. He is just a normal lad who got famous and carried on as normal therfore taking a hammering from the papers There is some quality stories of what they got up to when they err Paul was playing for Italy

If Chris Waddles shot had just crept inside the post in the 2nd half, who knows what could have happened in the final.

Not sure about that.

Drew with Ireland
Drew With Netherlands
Beat Eygypt - wow!

All the other teams drew their games....so we fluked top of the group!

We play poorly against Belgium, with a late winner by Platty.

Cameroon really should have won.

...we played well against West Germany and lost.

England are very good at playing well and losing.

Don't really think they can be said to have played well ay any time really. They had no sign of any thrust at all and seemed to have a go at the goal if they accidentally found themselves in the area! They spent the rest of the time patting the ball around in their own half until they lost possession! Even their passing was poor. I agree with the rest of what you said.

I think the whole thing really means something to Gazza and as you say we need some real passion like that from the players for the job in hand.

they needa gazza type of person in the team, its getting like snooker, boring individuals just looking to make buckets of cash.

Need someone who can be inbetween a 40 year old James and young Walcott to bring them all toghether

Jermain Defoe on Sky, early part of his waffle included - as i said in my column...........

Your fired.
