Oh Deer!
Part 1:
It all happens very fast in the video!
Part 2:
A mate of mine hit a deer on his blade a few months back.. Even bent the brake disk & forks! He stayed on though!

I hit a full size red stag some years ago with my M535i. I was doing about 65 and the stag was pushed into me by a car coming the other way which hit it first. It was pretty frightening since it was dusk and I did not see what I had hit. It slid up onto the bonnet and covered up the windscreen. I thought at first that I might have hit a man!
The car was a write off and had to be towed home.
I learned the hard way to be a bit careful during the deer rutting season. They get a bit feisty then.

We had similar a couple of mornings ago in Hucknall - why there was a deer in Hucknall I have no idea (pun intended) - RSPCA were requested to join the officer who got to the scene first.
Before anyone else got there, including a firearms officer dispatched from Ollerton, should he need to put the beast out of it's misery, the call came over the radio "Cancel all units. It's no longer a deer".

Haven't hit a deer yet, have come close though. Did hit a fox in a hire car once, the thing was unhurt, just K/o'd. Used its bum to clean the gearbox!!
A red stag is no mean feat Leslie, their huge and heavy!
Wasn't there a poster on here mullered a deer, after the repair had 3 sillouettes of deer on his van door with a cross through the last 1 like WW2 fighters.
Still, this takes some doing
Mate got a fallow in his defener, mullered the front nearside wing. Called me out to get the deer!! His wife was less than impressed to find 2 blokes covered in blood skinning the deer hanging from the pagoda

I hit a flying owl once, well it flew into my windscreen. I was doing 80ish at the time.
They must have some sort of powder in their feathers as there was an uncannily ghostly imprint of it on my windscreen!

I hit a pheasant in the Xantai at about 70
Blood and feathers everywhere. When we got to the pub quiz we were on the way to, I looked and noticed that the o/s headlight was loose. On further inspection, the top plastic clip had sheared.
Citroen wanted £110 +VAT for a new light, so I removed it at the weekend with a view to repairing the clip.
I was most surprised to find a pheasant leg and hindquarter, stuck to the radiator. It was done to a turn
