Default My sister hit a deer in her scoob last night

and what was the damage? A broken front indicator, popped the arch liner out and snapped 2 of the mounting brackets for the foglight That was it!

She was doing around 70mph prior to the accident and braked hard so I don't know how much speed she scrubbed off because I've not fitted her 4 pots yet () but she hit it with a big bang but there's no panel damage at all

Lucky day for her!! These scoobs are strong cars

Are you going to ask the Deer to pay for the damage then?

Look at scoob while holding shopping trolley - feckoff great dent in your door.

Hit a small horse - a bit of broken plastic.

She'd only had the indicators on there a month or so She had to modify the wiring to fit the new ones for some reason so I was running down the road last night looking for the wire because it pulled the whole indicator and the wiring out with it We found it though

She was VERY lucky. I got a right bo!!ocking from the rozzers in Scotland for speeding along the A82 (Glencoe/Rannoch Moor road). Loads of folk get killed each year after hitting deer on that one.

I had a bit of a accident last year with 3 deer all 3 jumped straight over a hedge and unlucky for them I hit 2 of them head on

Two died there and then and one got away

So In memory of that, I have this on the side of my Van

I wrote my car a while ago outside Clumber park, I was lucky too, it was a big red stag, almost the size of a small cow. Impossible to miss them when they leap into the road.

Oooh... nasty

I worry about deer when driving through or past the new forest but so far have only run over a squirrel, a wood pigeon (which was horrible as all the feathers flew up in the air covered in blood) and over an already mulched up fox

Huxley nice one mate The only thing I have hit is a duck at aound 90mph at 4.30.am It flew out of Stewatby lake and did'nt give itself enough height, It hit the top of my windscreen and I waited for it to go bang, but thankfully it didn't.
Cheers
Colin

She was mate She was sat in the back. She was so lucky, so very lucky to have only just clipped it with the corner of the bumper and not hit it full on. She thought from the bang that she'd done some serious panel damage.

When I went back to the scene to find the wire for the indicator there was no sign of the deer anywhere

It turns out today that when she's washed it the gap between the headlight and sidelight (early shape classic) has closed up I haven't asked her where on the car that she hit the deer but I'd guess it was the passenger side front corner so I have no idea how it's affected the drivers side
