Nothing better than LX - LOL

Marins usually run a 31.8 diameter clamp, but any old bike shop should be able to help, even a saturday ******!

Check this out for next years XTR groupset update:

NON

Depends on what you know about bikes...

One of the largest group of bike shopes in London (Cycle surgery/Yellow jersey) are stopping ordering Some XT and 90%+ XTR.
This is as its very over priced and not worth the money. They are for bikers who talk a lot about what they have and how much it costed!!! (Like on here..)The Deore group set wins many awards. The LX group set to many is the best value for money. An XT crank set is lighter than XTR. Its like Chris King head sets... Well over priced for what they are. There are a lot of very expensive parts out there that are rubbish. And I am glad when i hear shop guys telling the truth to their customers about why they shouldnt waste their money.

My experience on bikes include 3. trips into the Saraha . 1 trip from Morroco to Tunisia. All around Iceland,I could go on and on.(I was sponsered by Saracen, when they did make good bikes!!)
During these trips I have used The old style Thumb shifters!!

I see many people been ripped off.... Its like the old "Shiny bit of kit " Thing.

Of course, another suggestion is to not bother replacing the front mech, remove the rear mech and cassette, fit a single 16 or 18t cog on the back and go singlespeed. It is the only way to fly
