He was elected, he scored more votes than the others, so by definition in a "first past the post" electoral system he was first past the post.
Please dont give me proportional representation as a viable alternative, its the same as communism, idealistic on paper and unworkable in reality.

Same Sh*t, differant party, Lets just hope intrest rates do not now rocket back to what they were when Thatcher was in charge because I can see a lot more people homeless than their is now, and I hope Cameron does not carry out what he said he would do, VAT up to 20%.

He's got over the line by enlisting the Lib Dems to help. Nothing wrong with that, but he didn't win the election!

he has, cus he was the leader of the party (elected leader) and he has more members as MPs than any other party... and that is how our democracy works when 1st past the post isn't acheived.

lets get a load of highly paid consultants in to show us how to save money and tell us what state we are in (by doing everything bar getting rid of highly paid consultants)

Well , we'll only now see how good a job (or not ) Gordan has done to safeguard the economy
I decided at the end you certainly couldnt doubt his commitment , not happy in the spotlight obviously
...we'lll jus have to see whether the Tory boys and liberals can come up with something better fro the economy
