Men who wear flip flops
Why??
On the beach or by the poolside I can understand. As soon as the sun comes out there are men walking down the street in flip flops! Is it some sort of a gay thing?

Supposed to be good to let air get to your feet - Did you know in Aus they are known as thongs ?

I think it will be a bit like all the holidaymakers around here. As soon as they get here out come the shorts even if it is freezing cold and they are going around with blue knees and goosepimples!

...or 'jandals' in new Zealand (havianas by far the comfiest make), wear them all the time when over there but not so often here en ecosse (for obvious climatic reasons)

mine are more than shoes, they are useful pieces of equipment too. get yourself some reef flip flops with bottle openers built into the soles, you'll never have to worry about opening a bottle of beer ever again!

I can't stand flip-flops, but my sandals will be coming out and will be in regular use until autumn. No socks though, even if my feet do stink

You blokes are weird, I think men look great in flip flops, not the cheap and nasty ones, nice chunky ones. Only if the feet are in good nick though
My other half wears them indoors, they look really sexy, especially with jeans, but then he does have exceptionally nice feet

Flip flops appear to have become a fashion accessory around the "townie" types round these parts so I assume its nationwide.
Its acceptable near the beach etc but in town its just a fashion statement rather than anything else. Women of the moment seem to think its cool.
Bit like "The North Face" clothing.

You have not seen my toes, hairier than a silverback gorilla and my second toe is longer than my big toe. Still if you are into that thing I can send you some pics
