My second toe is bigger than my big toe too. It used to put me off wearing sandals, but not now. When I bought some and realised how nice it was to have some air to my feet in warmer weather, I soon didn't care about my odd feet.

I guess it's the same for blokes. It's nice in summer to keep your feet a bit cooler.

Fom the land where capsleeved t-shirts, trakkie bottoms and badly spelt tattoos and 'de rigueur' even in deepest winter and that's just the women

You don't see many flipflops though

Well i don't, short sleaved shirts while out on the drink in december = yup
Fagflops = not that i have seen

I think its the same with them crazy "sports" (ie hi-tec or something) sandals, i can remember this getting discussed on a local clubbing forum a few years ago when some clown came up to the north east complete with sandals and was crying about all the greif he was getting, all the rage were he came from lol

Even more disturbing are grown men who wear these flourescent glow stick bracelets and necklaces. Nothing says shirt lifter like a glow in the dark pink necklace. Maybe that's just a newquay thing though.

My other half wears them indoors, they look really sexy, especially with jeans, but then he does have exceptionally nice feet
I agree

They look great with shorts too. Roll on the warmer weather

The bloody things should be banned unless your at the beach or the poolside abroad!
And all the people who,ve started wearing them in the last week, saying its to keep there feet cool in the warmer weather- its only been up to about 18c at most ffs!! Maybe you should see your doctors first as your body temps obviously fu**ed.

And the same for blokes who insist on wearing shorts at any temp above 5c- go and get your hot flushes sorted out!

not that i would ever wear flipflops or sandles, I cannot due to having my large toenails absolutely mangled by the fantastic service we call the NHS!
