Kind of emasculates Brown doesn't it?

The two most impactful people in the Labour Party are NOT elected officials.

Tony Blair and Darth Mandy!

While not forgetting that Brown is the non-elected Prime Minister.

I don't think the man is either the messiah, or as well-liked as Labour would like to believe. Just might backfire.........

It knocks any shreds of credibility brown was holding onto.
Possible that blair is waiting to see brown fall on his **** at the election and then sweep back in as leader again when labour are out of government?

Bringing warmonger Blair back for the election campaign would be political suicide, his credibility went down the toilet years ago when he got his tongue stuck in G W Bush's rusty sherrif's badge.

Knock it on the head Pete, you are overdoing it to such an extent that it's beginning to sound like you have a crush on these two

Silly me I thought he won the 2005 election, which (correct me if I'm wrong) was long after he 'got his tongue stuck in G W Bush's rusty sherrif's badge'

Aww, your attempt at patronising me is commendable, well done

So you think that since 2005, Blair's standing with the public has improved then ?

No it's worse

But I was just pointing an obvious flaw in your earlier argument

Everyone knows him to be a charlatan. Not many will believe what he says.

You can all laugh, but neither the Tories or the rest of Labour have anyone capable of delivering a speech as well as Blair.

To me it isn't desperation, but common sense. He is the best they have... as sad as that may be.

No one denies his speechifying ability, but it is his beliefs and actions which are the problem.
