Dont be sad Newcastle - it will be so, so, so much sweeter when Boro dump Arsenal out of the FA Cup!! As we will!!
Anyone who watched Boro play Liverpool off the park last week AND see Man Utd off easily today - will surely put the money on Boro to win the Cup!!

Gooners might rule but my scoobysport backbox makes more noise than Arsenal supporters
I was in the clock end this afternoon and the geordies never stopped singing and we made 10 x more noise than the home fans in "the library". Pity Arsenal made mincemeat of us tho We really did play ****e
didn't think I'd ever say it but... COME ON THE BORO' !!

Saw Man Utd off easily, erm Veron and Blanc were being their usual lazy selves, veron dicked around with the ball just outside the box, blanc was way outta position and basically gave boro the goal. Man Utd now need to win every game including the one at OT against Arsenal, I dont see this happening so I think Arsenal will take the title and Im a Man Utd supporter.
Even without Henry Arsenal looked very good yesterday and I have no doubt they will beat Boro in the Semis.

The Smoggies will be well pleased to face Arsenal, after the thrashings we've given them this Season. Boro fans at work were praying they'd meet Arsenal rather than us; something makes them think they've got a chance against the Gunners... I don't think so. Up The Arsenal!

Boro will tear Arsenal limb from limb THEN come back for more - we havent got Ince now for the Semis, so we may have someone in there who can ACTUALLY kick the ball cleanly!!

Hahahah pslewis you have been on the pop again haven't you!!! Tear limb from limb???? I do look forward to this match so much. I think we just gave the Toon Army a good hiding and Boro just arn't in the same class , Man U have one off day and suddenly Boro are world class
Bring it on! We have gone from strength to strength without Henry and we can do the same with Pires missing, Boro have no chance my friend
Arsenal 4 Boro 0 (and thats being kind to Boro )

Bravo2Zero - 'ONE' off day???? Hmmmmm, seem to remember that BORO dumped Man Utd out of the Cup - so? was it TWO off days?? dont think so!!
Arsenal without Pires are going to get well and truly shafted by Boro ....... I will be kind and say 2 - 1 to the Boro ... but I simply cant see how Arsenal are going to score against the best Central Defence in the Country
Bye, Bye Arsenal

Hahahaha I admire your sense of humour Pete
Pires, although an amazing player and inspirational is not the be all and end all of our team, it is a good chance for Edu to play regularly and improve, among other players.
We will see on the day, no point saying anymore about it

Bravo - I have GOT to say it all now as it will be too late after the match
Between you and me I fear for Boro!! dont tell anyone will you?
I think a lot has to happen between now and then - Boro need to get 40 points and win the matches well - build up confidence .. I think when we know we are safe we may loosen up and show some football? We also need Arsenal to lose Bergkamp, Emu and Henry - a crocked Seaman would go down well too

Hahahaha, I agree there but we have to watch that bl00dy pain in the **** you have up front, wassis name, Boksic!!!
Edu looks like he could come good for us, I just hope Kanu isn't in the starting line up cos we might as well just put out 10 men when he is on the pitch!
To be honest, as a Gooner, it is devastating to lose Pires now, but I just hope the damage isn't as bad as they fear and he comes back just as good as before the injury, altho players never normally do. He must get player of the season, he certainly deserves it. Bergkamp has had his best season for a long time and he is the real danger man now, Henry's finishing has been indifferent so will depend on the day as to whether he is firing on all cylinders! If we play like we did against Newcastle, Boro will be in trouble, if we play like we did against Juve, Boro will have a much better chance. As always, all depends on the day and what happens in games between now and then.

Sammi Hypia is with out doubt the best defender in the world at the moment which makes him the best player in the prem. Pires has been outstanding but nit as good a sammi
