Holiday Suggestions
Hi
Looking for some holiday suggestion for April time this year. Myself, pregnant wife and 2 year old girl.
Dont really want a total beach holiday, we quite like to wander around the town/cities exploring stuff. Barcelona last year was good becuase we had the beach and the city.
Was thinking about Dubrovnik, but have been put off by reports that there would be "too" much walking etc...not ideal with a wife who would be 5months pregnant.
Sun, no chavs and stuff to do are the requirment....and max 5 hour flight
any suggestions would be really appreciated
thanks

I've decided to take advantage of the weak pound this year and head to Norfolk.
It used to be cheaper and better to go to France, but no more.
I can't stand airports BTW, which is a bit limiting for sure.
But - get to take the Subaru

Hmmmm...town/city touring with a 2 year old, god the thought alone sends shivers down my spine. I would really look to sticking with the beach and maybe the odd trip here and there.
La Palma in the Canary Islands is stunning and very relaxing.

Croatia, Slovenia... Lakes or seasides. Been to Dubrovnik before, but was about 17 and wasn't really interested in walking Met a nice Norwegan lad...! I can remember it was a nice place tho.

Malta - 4 hour flight, IIRC pretty decent for sight seeing, and you can get around almost everywhere by bus - as long as you don't mind the fact that the bus probably ran on our roads about 50 years ago and is now negotiating narrow mountain roads....
