cant believe it!! four years ago someone cloned my bank card. all was sorted out. i changed banks a year ago but recently has problms with my card. had the new card a week and have now been informed someone is using it abroad now had to have it cancelled and have to wait a week for a new one meaning all my shopping online was cancelled got a new puppy so cant leave it alone yet. so now i have to wait for the other half to get home to do the shopping which is like at ten at night.(late call out as he's a builder). but to o the shopping i need cash. to get cash i gotta go to the bank. my local branch is 15 miles away and they open 9-5pm so now have to wait til tommorrow. is it me or do i seem to be getting penalised for someone else steling my info.how the hell did they clone my new card in a week? i only used it in 2 shops (pets at home and coop). sorry to go on i just need to vent my disgust and anger

i would suggest that either someone in the bank is on the take or at one of those two shops you mention. Drawn any cash out of a machine in the wall with it?

If you google "credit card cloned shell" as I did last year, there's quite a bit of it going on.

no but thats where the one was taken four years ago never been there since.
the only atms i use are inside the bank due to previus clone. which made me really wary. im soooooo careful. it just confuses me how it happened in a week? im red hot on security now. i didnt use it in any shops other than mentioned the only other thing i did was pay scooby net to list my car but surely that couldnt have been it?

im now with alliance and leicester and cant visit the "local" branch as its in ware haha . i used to get mmoney out from the post office as alliance and leicester do that but again only had the card a week and used in 2 reputable shops. when putting my pin in i look like a caveman with his kill haha hovered over it like my life depends on it

I've had two cards cloned by my local Shell garage (Cressex in High Wycombe) - I know its them because I used to buy all my fuel there and the card is a company card I am only allowed to buy fuel with. your gonna laugh but its all to sh*t recently everything goes wrong at once with us.first the puppies jabs arnt til the 19th so cant take him out, and cos he's new cant leave him alone too long. the insurance for the car just ran out so waiting for other half to get paid but then wont be worth it as pxing it on friday and now this card thing need i go on. i tell you someone up there has decided this week to punish me. i dont know what i did wrong.

Hi Steffi4 i don't know which Vets your using but the best one in the area is Forest they are at Epping see Mr Burleigh one of the founding Partners and is very very good they are also at Eastwick lodge near Harlow Town train station where the other founding partner Clive Swainsbury works.

The Jabs are important but you should take the puppy out and just carry him/her around to get as much socialising done as possible and the biggest risk is putting the puppy down on the ground where an infected dog might have been to the toilet so if you only put your puppy down where other dogs probably haven't been or gets cleaned frequently like shopping precincts (I used chelmsford as i never saw dogs there and parked above the market so as not to carry her far) you should be safe the puppy has some immunity carried over from the mum so as long as it is only 8-12 weeks old it should be OK if your sensible but if not sure just carry it with you.

As to car problems that obviously isn't helping

The chip and pin machines have now been compromised and criminals can adapt the machine to read pins and store the info. So although you may be in a reputable shop, it wouldn't be too hard for an employee to use an adapted machine.

Cash is the only way!

in future ill just pay cash but its annoying cos if you do that you dont get overdrafts as it looks like your spending every penny you have and your protected more if u pay by card.
im sick of it when i used to sign for stuff nothing went wrong since this pin rubbish ive been done over twice in 4 years its disgusting
