Default Upsettingly good pictures...

As some of you know I like to take black and white pictures, mostly in infra-red. And sometimes I get one that I like. And some of those are ones other people like. Which is satisfying.

But now I've seen these pictures by Nick Brandt I'm wondering whether to take up the flute, or maybe pottery, or something. These are just brilliant:

Wow! Dont know much about IR but looks great (if a bit crushy on the black detail on teh chimps). Going to point the end of my telly remote at my EOS now and see what happens

I think the chimps are on conventional B&W film, while the ones with light foliage like the animals crossing the river, hippos, and girafferaffes under trees are on IR film. All on a Pentax 67 and mostly with the 105mm lens, so a 'standard lens' for that format, no long lenses...

Mate - I think he stood there for 3 weeks waiting for the Cheetahs to align... Cheap wont be in it! D

yea didnt mean from him, other people, just wondering of there were any mass produced items but similar sort of pics as the elephants are beautiful
