Brainwashed religious nuts.... just the same as any other person with religious belief though they just took it to the extreme. Catholics for example not using contraception.

Cannot wait until Turkey gets into the EU and we get the Turkish detritus coming here for the freebies...Perhaps Martin 2005 will tell me i am wrong and that Turkey has a much better welfare system that we do, if so please tell me why as soon as all the other eastern european countries got into the EU - they're headed here...

Muslim beliefs are backwards and not compatible with a free thinking society. The sooner we wake up to that and address it the better. At least the French are taking steps. We could learn from them. I'd happily get rid of all churches as well while we're at it. The number of Kidde fiddling pedos in the Christian faiths makes me sick.

Bit sweeping, parts Im sure are, the part I went to wasn't.
In fact the Turks were the nicest bunch of people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
There are sick brain washed people in all walks of life, just because they are governed by some suit in an office won't change a dot.

I sincerely hope that these two maniacs get a very heavy punishment for doing such a cruel thing to that poor girl. They richly deserve exactly the same treatment in my book if that was possible.

It's all to do with religion Les. It's the defining factor in why this terrible thing happened and it's the control mechanism which drove these men to murder their own flesh and blood.
I'm out of this thread now. I distaste is for all religion. A man made myth to control those with weak minds.

Just so you know honour killings are rare in turkey outside the kurdish areas and most turks despise the kurds with an intense passion anyway.
Calling the country at the base of the ottoman empire backwards is pretty thick as well.

If you can't do that then you are quite wrong to blame the religion.
Yes it was presumably an "honour killing", but that is down to the men who did it, certainly not their religion.
Too easy to put the blame on religion especially since you are as you say biased against it.

Just want to say this has nothing to do with religion this is more to do with culture then religion, islam doesnt promotes this kind off stuff and its clearly forbidden. i think if there put on trial under islamic law they will face the death penalty its what they deserve.
