Does your TV have a HDMI port ? Thats how mines connected, i know its not the answer you need, try AV 1 just to see if the game comes on.

You have the audio coming in on AV2 and the video coming in on component the two are not connected together. Can the audio out of the x box come out through phono connections to the TV. As previously stated a HDMI cable wouldbe better. Don't have a x-box myself but hav ehadfun setting up my living room audio video.

I would recheck your connections to the TV,they are two red jacks on the Xbox lead and you may have the wrong one plugged in.

Cool

Have you made sure the switch on the cable on the Xbox says "HDTV" and not "TV".

You say a new telly, but you didn't say what it was before. If it was a CRT, then it will have been at "TV" (default out of the box) and you need to switch it to "HDTV" for a component connection to a plasma or LCD.

Failing that, you say AV2 but mention component, which is it?

Geezer

P.S. Just get a HDMI cable!
