How tough are Paypal making things!
Jeeeeez!
I have seen posts about PP recently, but thought it was all just bad luck.
Just bought some board gear from the USA today and paid via Paypal. I get an email saying I need to call the seller for verification. No problem with, apart from being put on hold calling the USA, but hey.
While talking to them I got an email from Paypal so looked and it said Paypal had opened a dispute regarding the payment. Account protection I thought, so had to contact them too.
First issue was logging into Paypal. Apparently all my info was out of date and it INSISTED I change my password to a "strong" one, and loads of other mincing about.
When I finally get into my account I see the full details of the payment. They had put it on stop. So rather than a simple online verification, I have had to call them, be on hold for 10 mins to an 0870 number just to say "yes" to the question "did you want to go ahead with this transaction"
What a complete farce! Robbing *******s!
