Making a list and checking it twice...
...oh no i'm nay Santa, I'm just a guy who is being made to do the shopping on his day off!
Now i have decided that if i write a list of food that we need it may work out financially better than just going into the shops that raiding the place which generally happens on the rare occasion i am made to do this. So far my list consists of about 5 things that you couldn't make one meal out of, this will only end up being a disaster!
And if all that isn't bad enough do i go to good ol' Tesco or try the new Sainsburys? what if I try the new Sainsburys and it isn't as good as Tesco? but then again if i go to Tesco i'll always have it in the back of my mind things could be better if i just headed to Sainsburys?
Regards

Try & plan what it is you're gonna be having for your dinners for the week before you head off shopping. Also NEVER go to the supermarket while hungry, make sure you eat before you go or you'll just end up buying loads of crap.

I shop daily now, no point in me doing a weeks shop as I'm never sure where I'll be all week.
Last time I tried to do a big shop, thats a week for me! I tried the list thing, still ended up coming out of Sainsburys with 2 oven bake pasta's and 3 DVD's. Waste of time.

Don't forget the essentials, like butter, bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, loo rolls, kitchen roll, (pet food), juice or pop. Then start on your meals

on the contrary although it was very empty i was able to pick out a psychopathic old bint that needed to tell me about the fantastic deal on bacon that was out of date. I've never been approached by a psychopath in Tesco so 1up really.
Also at least the Tesco staff don't acknowledge you as a humanbeing which is far superior than a fat chick in an apron trying very unsuccessfully to flirt with you.
