I have loads of office tables that i need to get rid off..

are there companies out there that would be intrested in buying and how can i find them...??

not sure about selling them, but you could always give them away on places like freecycle

There is a company in Leeds which sells second hand office furniture so I presume they buy it too? Not sure on the name though

Infact just ddo a google search for "secondhand office furniture" there's thousands of results of people who will buy it

Many auctioneers will give little to make good returns on good used office furniture.

Thats true, I had plenty of decent metal cabinets to get rid off. Went to about 6 office furniture places, only one person wanted them, and only for 20 quid for 7 of them.
Scrapped them in the end.

Thought I was doing my firm a favour, as they normall PAY these office places to take them away.

You'll not get much for them in bulk mate. If you have the space and time, sell them individually on here/ebay/gumtree.

Yes you normally have to pay to get rid of used office furniture. The cost of removal and/or disposal and/or storage vastly outstrips their value

^^^ He's right. We've scrapped 100s of unwanted workstations during the past 6 months. Cost a fortune in skips, removal labour etc...
