Get Ready For Those ......
.... annoying Magazine adverts ..... you know the ones .....
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Build your very own Lancaster Bomber Magazine, first Mag. with one propeller only 99p - start collecting NOW!
.
.
.
Future Magazines at £4:99 ......
.
.
.
.
small print goes something like this, "100 editions are required to complete the model"
.
.
.
.
.
.
So, basically, it is going to cost you £500 and take you 2 years to build !!!
Who the hell actually does it? Why not buy a model kit for £35? What happens if you miss an issue? What happens if they stop selling the Mag.? Has anyone seen the Mags. in Newsagents after the first 99p Issue?
Please say no-one on here does it?

I didn't think the superb, dynamic, intelligent, PSLewis kit sold in any great numbers?
Clearly, it did - I guess you lot bought the 'King of ScoobyNet' model/version?

If it was the original P S Lewis version, people could throw stones at it and get smart replies at varying freqency depending on the speed of action.
The original model does not appear to have changed much despite re-badging.

My brother in law bought the one where you built a Subaru RC car.....I didnt find out until he was about 10 issues from the end. It cost him about £250 quid then he had to buy radio gear for it. It was the worst quality one I have ever seen.....even worse than the £50 entry level Tamiya or Kyosho.
I ended up giving him a set of radio gear and fitted him a better motor.....the poor little thing just had plastic bearings instead of ball races.....it sounded like it was dying when you floored it.

The big bully newsagent, Mr WebClown, took all the issues off the shelf and locked his door to anymore ...... luckily, some issues still got in through the letterbox (a slimmed down version, but still superior in every respect)
