Highlights and Lows of 2009
What's your's?
My 2009 has been, for me, pretty steady, and rather uneventful - but 2010 is shaping up to be a year of change as my company is looking to lay staff off. Being laid off on some good terms would be a positive, I can then retire - finally!

My lowest part of 2009 has to be when some idiot rear ended my RB5 at the end of March, having had it back from the bodyshop only three months before, it was nearly written off by the insurance assessor, but luckily it was repaired as it was limited edition.
Highlight only happened three weeks ago when I met a nice girly in my local Chicago Rock ( a rare thing) , who I have started going out with

Lowlight: Spinal disc injury still not sorted after a whole year, never likely to be now
Lowlight: Killed the Scoob in France.
Lowlight: Lying Labour nanny state withdrew the only painkillers I have found that helped me
Lowlight : My eldest lost his UK job and now has to work in Holland where he hates it.

Low = Had to sell my Elise. Other than that i'm far too laid back to let things bother me.

High = Getting a new job + saving for a house with my girlfriend.
Low = My mum being diagnosed with cancer

High - Getting my Scooby!
Can I cheat and have a Medium - Losing my job was harsh but finding a new one a few months later.
Low - My Uncle passing away 2 weeks ago and being only 52. Just too young and leaving 2 young uns and my Aunt behind.

Low: Nearly going bankrupt and loosing my home due to being unemployed on capability grounds.
Low: Always having something to fix on the Pug or in the house.
High: NOT going bankrupt and getting my apprenticeship at Corus doing mechanical engineering.
High: Breaking into the DJ circiut around here and meeting some excellent contacts (11pm July 31st will never be forgotton).
High: Meeting a genuine, genuine guy off here on the off chance for a beer one day and becoming very good friends with himself and his family. He knows who he is and I owe him an awful lot for the help he's given me
2010?? Hopefully more highs and progression in my new employment field.
