Immigrant killer drive allowed to stay in UK...
BBC News - Asylum seeker who caused fatal crash can stay in UK
Does the so called 'human rights' act do anything positive for us? Just means we can't deport killers and criminals back to their home countries as it 'might not be safe' for them
How's about our safety being considered sometimes, and getting these ******* out of here?
*blood boiling*

Well I am guessing he was seeking asylum.
Maybe he can take his new family to Iraq?
Since the whole basis of punishment is to deny ones rights ie. being imprisoned (or in some countries killed), it seems a little odd that the HR act is implemented when deciding punishment as meeted out by the criminal justice system.

He killed a british citizen, he should be deported back to Iraq and who gives a flying **** if the scumbag is then killed himself. An eye for an eye.
So he gets to stay because he has a family here, as others have said, why can't he take them back to Iraq, ah I get it, not such a nice place over there no doubt, no nice standard of living as we have here.
Dangerous to return eh? Well matey, it might be a tiny bit dangerous to stay here, you never know, some locals might not like what you did and how you've got away with it, so maybe you'll end up in an alleyway somewhere. It'd be sad for his family here, but to be honest, I don't really care.

Cheeky sod But you're correct, I'm an Englishman in Toronto (hmm, not quite the same ring to it as Englishman in New York). Perhaps I should have said "there" instead of "here". If I had been the person in question I would have expected to be booted out of Canada as a result, not that I'd have fled the scene of an accident if I'd caused it in the first place. I would be man enough to stand up and take the punishment for my crime.

As for the topic - I'm assuming whoever made the decision decided that the issue of him wanting to stay in the UK isn't related to his actions while in the UK. Its why these a55holes who strut about telling their fellow countrymen to come to the UK and blow us up are so hard to kick out.
Absolutely stinks.
