A corner microwave

Whirlpool Max 28 Microwave Oven with Grill and Crisp Function, Black, 750 W: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home

I ordered it yesterday in glossy black. Its a 13ltr capacity but its equivalent to a 20ltr standard microwave as there are no wasted corners

Because of the new regulations my oven has had to be moved 300ml from the wall so the space left is no longer big enough for a standard microwave.

Whirlpool are the first to do these so thats why not many people have seen them......yet. They are in comet and loads of places. I have always had my one across the corner of a work surface but it takes up loads of room.

What is the point of having a 28cm rotating dish in a microwave that has corners that you cant use? Its a 13ltr capacity but is the equivalent of a 20ltr so it makes loads of sense
I have a huge Sharp stainless steel one but inside the top is peeling and showing metal, that cant be good so i need a new one. Comet sell theirs for about £150, i have spent £87 from Amazon, bargain! From looking at all the spec its actually better than a standard one so there

* Unique Crisp System browns crisps without burning with little or no fat or oil
* Quartz Grill for faster more efficient grilling
* Unique space saving design, curved back allows it to be pushed back into a corner
* Jet Start,One touch operation no need to set power level and time separately
* 3D distribution system gives uniform even heating throughout the cavity
* Jet Defrost,3D distribution system defrosts 7 times faster than a conventional microwave
* 28 cm Turntable, same size as much larger conventional models no wasted space
* Baby bottle Holder, Convenient easy way to hold the bottle in place whilst reheating
* 7 power levels for different food types
* Top controls and display for easy setting and feedback.

When you see mine in my new kitchen you will all want one

It looks like a portable crt tv (or whatever its called). I am having granite work surfaces. They are dark so the round microwave will not stick out like a sore thumb, it will be neatly tucked away in a corner without taking up any valuable space whilst doing its job perfectly

I will have more room for ******** on my work surfaces to christen my new kitchen

just one question .... I might be missing the obvious but if it's designed to go in a corner, why are there no pictures of it IN a corner?

Lol, i felt like being clever lol.

If you put a big football in the corner of the room you will have some sort of idea. When i put my normal one across the corner i lost loads of room.I could have stuck my head down the gap before. Have a look at the spec and work it out. What you lose is negligible

I will take pics when mine comes this week. It has a quartz grill and 3d emissions and all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff going on, cant wait to get it

Still have wasted capacity inside and no where to have a hidden plug socket. Anyway, the box it arrives in would be square

The food will not rotate, its is genius, no space wasted, you nuke your food for a bit, then open the door and turn it around to do the other side.

the "hidden socket" is underneath.
