Frankie & Benny's Northampton - Pretty darn good!
Went last night, three kids and us two adults (for want of a etter word) for one of the girls birtday, as a treat and it was. Never been to F&B's before so not sure what to expect
Menu was varied and suited us all, the service was excellent as was the food, wasn't expecting much quality wise but it was tasty and suprisingly good.
They sang happy birtrhday and bought out the desert complete with candles (they asked me of it was a birthday, i did not need to promt them, the waiter worked it out and descretly asked me - it was a complete suprise and she was over the moon. Nice touch!
Certainly better service and food than TGI's and our local brand, Buddies
We all had mains, drinks (kids drinks refilled for free) and a desert and spent less than £45.00
Will go again
Oh and i am now a big fan of Magners pear cider

I must admit, they are my favorite chain. However quality does vary from franchise to franchise. The one at Durham is bl**dy awful.

I will avoid Buddies, they charged me £1 for a tiny pot of mayonnaise!! I wouldn't mind if they told us, plus they added a "service charge because there was more than 6 of us - 4 adults and 4 kids! I was annoyed, but wasn't allowed to make a scene LOL
I've always enjoyed F&Bs, Dave and I used to go there quite a bit.

Thats good news,
wevve booked our works chrimbo do with them this year
Usually do Smith & Western, but there menu this year wasn't so good.
F&B had a pretty good Chrimbo menu, so we'll have to wait and see

Oh Man! Its usually cooked until sterile and then stored OUT OF THE FRIDGE (!) for up to a year! They have to add the flavour too, as its all cooked out.
Sorry: as I realise that youll never eat it again (and if Im wrong do a little reasearch: "sh*t in a bag")...
