Clue was in the name of the town, Bradford. Latin for `town of rubbish`

Bradford is now the 2nd highest place for car insurance. this is courtesy of the 27,000 un insured drivers/cars on the road here.......... with stats like up to 68% of drivers in the inner city postcode area having no insurance.

Dont forget where they got the name Bradford, from in the twenties when the first Model Ts arrived in the UK, the sh1tters were sent up north to a new town. So many commented about their 'Bad Ford' and what with the speech impediment that plagued that area, the name was created B(r)adford.

Im sure its true, I read it on the internet.

Do you know why the name changed?

Went to view a Lancia Integrale when it was Mir. The other cars were carp and the Lancia was a royal sh1te box.

Went to Mir, WRC but didn't make it to Kieghley (I've always called it "Keelee" but much to the locals amusement its "Keithly") pretty much all sh1te.

Agree with everything said about Bradford when it comes to jap cars. I took a trip down to Keighley Trade for a look at the cars when I was 18(on behalf of a mate). Even then I wasn't naive enough to want to buy any of their junk.

If you live in the surrounding area, as I do, it's 'Keithly'. If you're from Keighley it's 'keefluh' or 'ugh'. HTH

PS, never buy a car from Keighley or Bradford!

Went to have a look around Keighley with one of my mates a few year ago, we got a bit lost & they had moved.

Took us 40 minutes to find some one who spoke English so we could ask for directions. Seeing them screwing cars around car park put my mate off.

We went because my pal was looking for a Starlet GT and noticed they had a few. Obviously we couldn't test drive it(they don't let anyone ), so we went with one of the guys driving. He just fired it up and went flat out through the industrial estate bit to get to the main road, then booted the sh*t out it up the duel carraige way. Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence(not that the cars did anyway).

If it is mir motors I remember a thread on them a few years ago where some guy had traded in his car with 100k on the clock. Then found it on pistonheads advertised with 58k on the clock a few weeks later.

funny you say that because all the cars in the add seem to be low miles for the year and all seem to be rather close in km's to each other
