I didn't know it was out on DVD yet. There is another film named Inglorious *******s, which was made in 1977, and that is listed on sendit.com for £3.89, so perhaps that is what you saw in HMV. A quick look shows that inglorious basterds isn't due out until 7th Dec.

Watched this tonight and really enjoyed it. Refreshing to watch a film without the usual hollywood cheese (aka 2012). The plot and twists were fairly predictable but that's no bad thing; most films twist the plot to stupid degrees simply to try and twist the plot to stupid degrees. This told a story, one that I found both interesting and believeable. A little slow at points so not a film to watch when you are wanting something a bit more upbeat.

I bought it from Play as a pre-order, since I'd seen various people saying how good it was. Maybe on here, although the stupid search function says there are no hits on the word 'moon' at all...
I found it slower than I expected, and the very low budget showed in the way certain things on the set looked a bit shaky. However, it really was a proper film with a plot and acting and some thoughtful writing. Very brave to leave some plot resolution to a bit of background audio in the last few seconds of the film...
I'm not convinced that it is one I should have bought. It seems that it is also being given out as a freebie with some BD players so the market will be awash with them soon.
I do agree that without films like this we'd be left with dozens of rubbish Hollywood 'blockbusters' for attention-deficit teenagers, so I'm glad somebody made it and I'm glad I watched it.

Pontificating
Finally watched this, it was OK but I was expecting a little more, it was all too obvious, so much for the so called twists, more of a meandering 3 point turm....

I've watched it recently and really enjoyed it. Had the sort of eerie atmosphere of 2001. Great soundtrack too.
