Default Best way to sell an engagement ring.

Got an old engagement ring that needs to go, I have had it valued and have all the paperwork.

I don't mind the Ebay route but just wondering if there any other avenues besides those gold4money adverts.

Any ideas?

If I were you I would pop down to an independent jewellers and see if they will take it off you hands. I have done this in the past with some old stuff I had and I got a pretty good deal, plus you can talk to someone in the flesh and get paid in cash!!!!

Why are you selling it? Is something wrong with it, or was it not nice?

The ring is gold.

Nothing wrong with it, it was my Dad's from a long while ago and he has asked me to sell it for him.
