Not happy
On Saturday a received a letter from a debt collection agency notifying me they had been instructed by my university to collect monies outstanding.
I couldn't believe it & didn't have a clue what it was for. So i rang the company and it was for an outstanding library fine.
It would have been nice for the uni to notify me of this, I only live about 10 minutes away could easily of called in & paid it. It wouldn't be hard to send me a letter or make a telephone call. Bare in mind I also left coming up to 4 years ago.
So anyway I paid, so I don't have any black marks to my name. Im not a person who likes debt or credit, I have never even had a credit card.
So today I receive another letter this time from the university, apologising for a letter I received from a debt collection agency collecting money believed to be due to the university. They were not intending to pursue the matter.
Absolute ***** its a bit late I have already paid it.

im a bit happier now.Just received a email reply form the university, they are going to repay the money to me.
