good film. watched this on sunday, and gotta say i found it refreshingly good, although i did think the previous types as mentioned on thread title in there own way were either too much like hard work or a tad OTT! liking the "found" private video evidence angle, and enjoyed the way it gets you to somehow become hyper-sensitive when watching the night time "in bed" footage. well worth a watch imo.

I didn't think it was all that to be honest. It was ok in the sense that it was different to your normal run of the mill horror film.

But I saw a different version of the film, and I think that the recent cinema release sounds a bit more theatrical and 'scary'/ shocking than the version that I saw.

I was sitting on the edge of my seat for 30 mins waiting for something really scary to happen, that 'waiting' continued throughout the film until near the end.

It just didn't live up the the hype that I expected, but I still enjoyed it for what it was.

Yep, I am THAT sad I have a list of up and coming films that I want to watch. Just so I don't forget. I use the IMDB to see if they look good and what ratings they have been given.

I recently submitted a review on The Antichrist. Which was basically a pile of poop. If it wasn't for the (almost) soft **** clips at the begining it would have been a total waste of time!
