Talking Please Father Christmas, can I have....

What do you want (apart form beer and sex) for Christmas.

I'll start...

Tantive IV Blockade Runner

It will go nicely with my other kits

Nearly mid-November. Fair game now.

I ban my kids from talking about Christmas lists untill after Bonfire night. I now need ideas to get to Toys'R'Us before the great unwashed strip the shelves in December.

My wife got me a massive technic Ferrari a few years back, best present ever, took me back to being 11, we have a neighbour that works for Lego and he can get a pretty good discount.

Trouble is I cant sit on the floor for five hours doing a Lego without crippling myself.

I want an auto darkening welding helmet and a Pillar Drill this year, just got the MIG for my birthday.

I can, tried it doing something else.

Problem is I want a lego kit, with the complexity of Airfix.

When I was a lad, I just clipped Lego together, rather than welding it...

Haynes Build Your Own Internal Combustion Engine

I was thinking of this. I saw Mr P looking at it and he said he's like to do it with our lad. He will be turning 4 in the new year and I imagine they will both get some fun out of it.

That and a new pair of trainers and a few 'treats'.

We are maxing out on a good spec desk top for the nipper this year, so we have (yet again) put our own wants aside, and we are just doing 'small' things.

Steve, those pics are not up to your usual standard. Serious obvious airbrushing going on there
